1.0 MV HVE Tandetron accelerator

1 MV High Voltage Engineering Tandetron accelerator is in operation since 2004. Accelerator installation was funded by the IAEA Technical Cooperation project, Ministry of science of Croatia and donations by University of Oxford and University of Uppsala. Ion beams can be directed to the 6.0 MV tandem experimental area, or to one of the independent beam lines

- Accelerator is equipped with direct extraction duoplasmatron ion source which is used for beams of hydrogen and oxygen. Maximum proton energy is 2.0 MeV with maximum currents in the region between 10 and 20 microA.
- Sputtering ion source is planned to be installed in 2007.
