Request for analysis

Each submitted sample for ¹⁴C or ³H analysis should be accompanyed by a FORM containing relevant data about the sample. Both, Croatian and English version of the form, you can get one below the other at the left side of this window. The PURCHASE ORDER , containing also the submitter’s VAT number, should be sent separately.

Measurements of radionuclides of low activity and concentrations, such as ¹⁴C and ³ H, are very sensitive and time-consuming, therefore at least 2 months should be taken into account for measuring by liquid scintillation counter (LSC), and up to 4 months for measurement by accelerator mass spectrometry (AMS).

General conditions

The submitter is obliged to quote the ¹⁴C and ³H Laboratory of the Rudjer Bošković Institute in any publication. Laboratory staff has the right to publish these results in Radiocarbon Data List along with the data about samples in the agreement with the submitter.

The Institute and its employees or representatives are neither responsible for further use of the results of performed analyses nor for consequences which could arise as the results of exploitation of analyses.

The name of the Institute can be used from third parties in promotional and similar purposes, brochures and WEB pages only after written approval of the Institute.
