Laboratory works on scientific tasks in the field of computer science and electronics, especially on:

• research and development of machine learning algorithms and their applications in data analysis 
• theory and application of knowledge representation and decision making methods
• development of complex measurement techniques based on computer technology

-   ontologies, methods for medical knowledge representation, decision support systems, and data warehousing (for the European project), look at HF ontology
-   development of the integrated system for knowledge acquisition and representation with decision support capabilities
-   knowledge discovery from clinical data sets (heart failure, brain stroke, PTSD)
-   data driven modeling in social applications (state failures, risk assessment in investment)
-   generation of expert understandable relations in genetics and biomedicine
-   algorithms for the computation of the natural gas isentropic exponent
