Current research in the Laboratory of radiochemistry is of fundamental nature in the fields of colloid, interfacial, radiation and photochemistry. The general goal of our research is investigations of processes and mechanisms of interactions between ions, molecules, molecules in excited states and radicals in model homogeneous and heterogeneous systems. Major parts of our work are experimental work; results are checked by current theories and explained at the molecular level. The general knowledge gained can be utilized in biomedicine, classical and modern technologies, and in ecology.
