Mission of the Department of
Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry is

to sustain the
excellence in fundamental scientific research covering selected experimental
and theoretical topics of organic chemistry and biochemistry of contemporary
significance

to execute high
quality application oriented research focused primarily toward discovery
of new products of high commercial value and in this way to contribute
to faster technological development of the Republic of Croatia
|
|
to promote and
intensify the international collaboration in these fields and
|
|
to actively participate
at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels of education in organic chemistry
and biochemistry at Croatian Universities by providing specific expertise
and facilities.
