…is founded on the long-term experience on scientific investigation of genotoxic / toxic effects on marine organisms caused by stabile natural and anthropogenic chemical stressors and based on 4 processes:

  • release of compounds in the sea
  • transfer of compounds in the sea with or without chemical transformation
  • exposure of one or more target organisms to different substances
  • response of marine organisms to xenobiotics.
