Laboratory for semiconductors

The principal research activity of the Semiconductor lab is in the field of semiconductors, complementary dielectrics and related device physics. Different aspects of basic properties of these materials are explored on macroscopic, mesoscopic and nanoscopic scale, as well as the effect of defect engineering and quantum confinement on the nano-scale.

Laboratory for semiconductors

Semiconductor lab has following experimental techniques:

  1. 1 Electrical characterization: I-V, C-V, C-T, TSC, PC, DLTS, DDLTS i Laplace DLTS, CTS, Hall-effect, noise spectroscopy
  2. Optical characterization: PL, TR-PL i UV-vis spectroscopy
  3. SPM including: STM/ STS/ AFM/ LFM/ Phase Imaging/ Force Modulation mode/ SSRI/ MFM/ EFM/ SCM/ Adhesion Force Imaging/ AFAM/
