AFM - Atomic force microscope BrukerAtomic Force Microscope (AFM) coupled with an inverted fluorescence microscope

  • visualization and characterization of surfaces and surface processes on the nanoscale using atomic force microscopy (AFM), (e.g. proteins, lipid vesicles, cells, biomineralizirane structure, gels, nanoparticles, thin films, alloys, ceramics, dental composites, textiles, paper)
  • characterization of micro and submicrometer-sized organic particles in aquatic systems (e.g. hot-spots with elevated anthropogenic activities such as: aquaculture, ship terminal, cruiser trafficing) using complementary surface techniques
