
The international symposium Ruđer Josip Bošković – Physicist and Astronomer was organized by the Ruđer Bošković Institute in collaboration with the UniversityofZagreb, under the auspices of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
The symposium was held at the Chemistry Department, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb, on Friday, May 20, 2011.
During the symposium, Jean-Marie Lehn, a 1987 Nobel laureate in chemistry, delivered the first of the Ruđer Josip Bošković Lectures. On this occasion, he was presented with a plaque from the Ruđer Bošković Institute for contributions in the field of supramolecular chemistry.
