Today the Institute has nearly 900 employees. Over 550 of them are scientists, of whom 229 are young researchers. The scientists of the RBI are active in the fields of physics, chemistry, molecular biology and medicine, ecology, marine research and computer science, and participate in a number of basic and applied research projects in collaboration with domestic or international universities, institutions and industry.
