The Laboratory for Marine and Atmospheric Biogeochemistry provides the following analytical services:

  1. Analysis of dissolved organic matter (DOC) in water
  2. Analysis of particular organic matter (POC) in water and sediment
  3. Analysis of surfactants in water
  4. Lipid analysis by thin layer chromatography
  5. Lipid extraction of aqueous samples
  6. Cultivation of phytoplankton cells
  7. Measurement of black carbon concentrations in ambient aerosol particles
  8. Determination of the water soluble organic carbon (WSOC) in precipitation and ambient aerosol particles
  9. Determination of the organic carbon (OC) in ambient aerosol particles and particulate organic carbon (POC) in precipitation
  10. Atmospheric precipitation sampling
  11. Sampling of PM10 particulate matter in the ambient air according to EN 123412014
