The sampling of water and sediment, as well as fish (northern pike, Esox lucius) and bivalves (Anodonta anatina and Unio pictorum) in the Mrežnica River was carried out at two sampling sites, reference site upstream of Duga Resa and the sampling site in Duga Resa, in front of the factory of former cotton industry.
