Workshop - Diamond Detectors, Development and Applications

Time
May 8th 2012 13:00

From the 7th to 10th of May, at the Plitvice lakes national park, Division for experimental physics of RBI is organizing a Workshop - Diamond Detectors, Development and Applications.

This is already a second workshop about the development of radiation detectors for basic and applied research, this time dedicated to diamond detectors. Owing to the development of CVD technology for production of high purity diamonds, diamond detectors are becoming competitive material for production of radiation hard detectors for high energy physics experiments.  Organization of the workshop is entirely sponsored by FP7 project Particle detectors as well as by bilateral project between Japan and Croatia - Development of high energy ion microbeam technology for novel applications of diamond.
