Langmuir-Blodgett trough

Langmuir-Blodgett troughs are the leading instruments for fabrication of organized monolayers and multilayer molecular structures at interfaces. It is used in many fields, including fundamental research and quality control in thin film fabrication and characterization. Application areas include cell modelling and biomolecular interactions, Brewster Angle Microscopy, nanoparticle and graphene deposition and characterization, emulsion and foam stability, studies of lipid bilayers and membranes, surfactant development, dip coatings and smart coatings.
