Computational models of flow, flooding and pollution dispersion in rivers and coastal waters
Principal investigator
The project implements applied scientific research and develops a computer model for effective modeling of flow and pollution in open watercourses and coastal sea area, with acceptable river inflows, lush inflows, and industrial and sewage discharges in coastal sea area, while developing a predictive model of microbiological pollution based on artificial intelligence models and the integration of the microplastic pollution spread model into the overall model. The computer model is adapted to the supercomputer environment, which enables the provocation of high-resolution simulation with the aim of implementing measures to mitigate the consequences of climate change in priority vulnerable and transversal areas.
