This project aims to design and synthesize novel fluorophore-peptidomimetic probes (FPPs) that mimic the MDM2/p53 interaction while enabling fluorescent tracking of inhibition within patient-derived glioma stem cells. The effects of MDM2 inhibition on MHC-I peptide presentation and the resulting CD4⁺ T-cell immune response will be investigated, along with the influence of proteasomal inhibition on MDM2 and p53 degradation. By elucidating these mechanisms, the project aims to advance targeted therapeutic strategies against glioblastoma and contribute to the development of personalized cancer treatments.
