Mechanochemical reactions of boronic acid derivatives with various nitrogen compounds will be studied for the purpose of preparing heterocyclic boron-containing compounds. The reactions will be monitored by in situ Raman spectroscopy. The products will be characterized by spectroscopic and diffraction methods in the solid state and in solution. DFT calculations of the stability and spectra of the compounds will enable their easier identification.
