SMART-Water: An Innovative Approach to Monitoring Lake Water Quality in the Region
The project brings together experts from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro with the goal of improving the monitoring system for stagnant inland water quality using artificial intelligence, satellite observations, and advanced geospatial sensors. Research is being conducted in Vransko Lake (HR), Deransko Lake (BiH), and Skadar Lake (CG), with a focus on developing a harmonized methodology for ecosystem monitoring.
