EASIGEN-DS – third edition of the project newsletter

The third edition of the EASIGEN-DS newsletter is out. EASIGEN-DS is designing the future European research infrastructure for advanced genomics technologies. The newsletter also reports on the consortium's mid-term meeting, held at the Ruđer Bošković Institute.

Highlights of the third edition (July 2026):

  • The future EASIGEN infrastructure – the consortium has defined a structure of three complementary platforms: a research platform, an innovation platform and a capacity-building platform, serving academia, industry, core facilities and policymakers.
  • Mid-term meeting in Zagreb – in March 2026, partners gathered at the Ruđer Bošković Institute to review progress across all work packages and agree on the next priorities.
  • "Human Genome Project: 25 years later" – an event organised by EASIGEN-DS and CNAG on 10 February in Madrid, marking 25 years since the first draft of the human genome was published.
