The latest newsletter of the Genome of Europe (GoE) project is out. GoE is sequencing 100,000 European reference genomes, with the IRB Laboratory for Advanced Genomics as a partner.
Highlights of the February 2026 newsletter:
- A message from Project Lead André Uitterlinden – after a successful first periodic review, 2026 is the year GoE delivers its first genomes and scales up to full production of the reference genome set.
- Launch of Genomics for Poland (G4PL) – the largest strategic genomics initiative in Poland, started by GoE's Polish partners.
- A short promotional video about the Genome of Europe project.
- Upcoming events and an introduction to the WP2 team.
