Croatian Innovators Association as a partner of the "Nikola Tesla Association - Genius for the Future" for the seventh year in a row organizes the three-day event Tesla & Friends 2016, which will mark the third day of Nikola Tesla - science, technology and innovation day and the 160th anniversary of his birth. This year's event will be held July 9 to 11 under the patronage of the President of the Croatian Parliament Željko Reiner, Ministry of Science, Education and Sports, the City of Zagreb, Croatian Commission for UNESCO, the Tourist Board of Zagreb and the Croatian Chamber of Commerce - Chamber Zagreb.

The three-day event dedicated to Tesla's birth will begin July 9 with the Conference "Tesla in Zagreb" on the theme of "160 years from the birth of Nikola Tesla". Continues July 10, with the traditional laying of the wreath at a monument to Tesla's where a special program will be held and afestive celebration and annual award Nikola Tesla - Genius for the Future at the Hotel Esplanade in Zagreb. On the third day of the event on July 11 at the Museum " Nikola Tesla " talk about Nikola Tesla with demonstrations will be held senior museum curator Renato Philippines.

All events, except for festive celebrations and award annual prizes at the Hotel Esplanade, are open and free for visitors.
