1st Festival of Science by Young Researchers in the DEP
On April 14-15, 2010 the Department of Experimental Physics (DEP), RBI will organize its first Festival of Science by young researchers. The festival will showcase the recent research of doctoral students in the department.
By showcasing the work of young researchers, the festival offers a glimpse into the scientific areas in which scientists in the DEP are active. The initiative fits into the DEP's commitment to better tracking of development of young scientists and improvement in scientific communication with the general public.
The Festival welcomes colleagues from other departments and other research institutions who wish to get an insight into the scientific activities of the DEP. Undergraduate students are especially invited to learn about the research themes and issues studied by young researchers in the DEP.
The festival will be held in the lecture hall in the first wing at the RBI, Bijenička 54, on Wednesday, April 14th, from 9:00 to 16:00 and on Thursday, April 15th from 9:00 to 12:30.
