Professor emeritus Zvonimir Janko at RBI

Ruđer Bošković Institute was proud to welcome an outstanding Croatian scientists and one of the leading world mathematicians in the group theory professor Zvonimir Janko, professor emeritus at the Mathematical Institute, University of Heidelberg, Germany. On this occasion, professor Janko delivered a lecture in which he introduced listeners into the field of his current research - the theory of finite p-groups.

The lecture by professor Janko was the first of the Distinguished scientists at RBI series, organized under auspice of RBI Director General Danica Ramljak. This series of lectures once a month gathers RBI scientists as well as other members of the Croatian scientific community and provides them with the opportunity to meet with the leading national and world experts.
