The Night Under the Stars at "Ruđer"
The Ruđer Bošković Institute (RBI) invites you to attend the "Night Under the Stars" event which will be held October 15th beginning at 18:00, at the RBI campus Bijenička 54, Zagreb.
From 18:00 to 20:00 two lectures will be held. The first by Dr. Dejan vinković entitled "How was the Earth Created and how will it Disappear?", followed by Dr. Danko Bosanac, on "Life and Civilization in Space". The lectures will deal with questions which have captured the imagination of man, such as how everything began, how space developed, are we alone in space and where and what is our place in the universe.
From 19:00 to 20:00 you can visit the exhibition of telescopes and attend the children's workshops, followed by study of the night sky through our telescopes from 20:30 until 24:00.
"A Night under the Stars" is organized by RBI in cooperation with the Croatian Astronomical Society, the Zagreb Observatory, the Astronomical-Astronautical Scoiety of Zagreb, the Remetinec Astronomical Society and the Astronomical Society Beskraj.
