Young RBI Scientist Receives a Young Scientist Award

Presented results are part of Marko Karlušić phD work which is dedicated to studies of energy tresholds for latent ion track formation after irradiation with swift heavy ions. It was found by RBS channeling technique, that formation of ion tracks depends not only on stopping power value, but also on the angle of irradiation with respect to the crystallographic axes in SrTiO3. In addition to irradiations performed at RBI accelerator facility, part of the work was done at HZDR accelerator center in Germany through the support of EU FP7 project SPIRIT.
