More information

Starch is one of the most widely applied food additives due to its

action on numerous properties. The aims of the project are: a) to

develop new modified starches by applying gas plasma and

ultrasound (individually and combined); b) to analyse chemical and

physical properties of obtained starches; c) to publish scientific

articles in scientific journals of high IF. Wheat, potato, maize and

high-amylose maize starches will be used as raw materials.

Researchers from PTFOS, Wrocław University of Environmental and

Life Sciences, Institute Ruđer Bošković and The University Hospital

Centre Osijek will participate in this project.

Realisation of the project will improve the collaboration between

researchers and be the basis for application of „larger“ project

within EU funds.
