More information

Circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) has attracted considerable attention in recent years. The search for improved CPL-emitting materials is driven by their potential to revolutionize fields such as 3D imaging, optical data storage, chemical sensing, and advanced optoelectronic devices. The objective of this project is situated within this context and entails the optimization of the chiroptical properties of unique liquid crystal systems (LCs) doped with organic luminophores derived from [2.2]paracyclophane (pCp). The project combines the Croatian team's expertise in preparing and studying the properties of LCs with the French team's mastery in synthesizing optically pure, diversely substituted pCp systems.
