The European Blockchain Services Infrastructure (EBSI-NE)

The objective of the EBSI-NE consortium is to support the development and adoption of the EBSI network at the European level by increasing the number of validator nodes in the production network and the provision of support services for all relevant EBSI stakeholders.

Searching for new drug candidates against prostate cancer using the Vini in silico cancer model

New access to HPC Vega is granted for cancer research using the Vini biophysical model of cancer. Research will be performed by a team of researchers at the Ruđer Bošković Institute, Center for Informatics and Computing, and the Sestre milosrdnice University Hospital Center, jointly led by Prof. Dr. Ana Fröbe and Dr. Draško Tomić. Access was obtained through a public EuroHPC JU Access Call.

AMOTS (Multi-head Additive Manufacturing with Optimal HPC Thermal Stabilization)

When using industrial machines for additive manufacturing, heat and its dissipation to individual structural elements of the machine play one of the major roles. One of the aspects of the influence of heat is the heated working space inside the machine itself that is very important because most materials used in different industries require heated work chambers, passively or actively heated. The vision of this project is to establish and predict the impact of this heat on the structure and motion system of the machine using HPC infrastructure.

Scalable high-performance algorithms for future heterogeneous distributed computer systems

HybridScale is a research project funded by the Croatian Science Foundation, whose main goal is to develop new and improve existing numerical linear algebra methods and algorithms tailored for faster and more efficient execution on large-scale distributed computing systems (supercomputers) based on GPUs. The project will establish a research group that will strengthen research in the domain of high-performance computing at the Ruđer Bošković Institute and work on applying the knowledge gained in other scientific fields.

EuroCC - National Competence Centres in the Framework of EuroHPC

The aim of the National Competence Centers in the Framework of EuroHPC (EuroCC) project is to establish national HPC competence centers and contribute to the construction of the European HPC ecosystem. This will strengthen existing and develop new competencies in the field of high performance computing (HPC). At the same time, preconditions will be created for synergistic action on policy building, financing and resource management in three areas: HPC, analysis of large data sets on HPC resources (High Performance Data Analytics, HPDA) and artificial intelligence technology (Artificial Intelligence, AI). ).

3D-CPAM is an experiment inside CloudiFacturing project that optimizes the 3D fashion design-manufacturing process by significantly reducing the production time combining modern industrial 3D printing technologies and advanced HPC/Cloud services.

TETRAMAX - Technology Transfer via Multinational Application Experiments and "HeartStep" experiment

TETRAMAX is a Horizon 2020 innovation action and provides an implementation of the European Smart Anything Everywhere (SAE) initiative in the domain of customized and low-energy computing for cyber physical systems and the internet of things. New experiment ‘HeartStep’ is funded by TETRAMAX first call for bilateral TTX.
