CIR has received funding for bilateral scientific project " Optimization of energy consumption in distributed systems " within the Croatian- Slovenian cooperation . The project will explore different approaches for efficient use of available energy in the information and communication technologies . To develop a new and comprehensive solutions for efficient use of energy in large computer centers by adjusting the available resources according to the needs of computer users . Energy efficient distributed system will be achieved by the monitoring of computer load and electricity consumption , adaptive load distribution , optimization and virtualization of resources used and the creation of models in electricity consumption .
