PhD position in the field of ANALYTICAL ENVIRONMENTAL CHEMISTRY at the Division for Marine and Environmental Research to work on the EU project EDA-EMERGE

Rudjer Boskovic Institute is the largest multidisciplinary research institution in Croatia. The biggest IRB unit with more than 100 employees is the Division for Marine and Environmental Research (DMER). DMER is focused on biogeochemical processes in the aquatic environment with a special emphasis on the assessment of anthropogenic impact. DMER offers longstanding expertise in the development of analytical and bioanalytical tools for the study of organic contaminants in the environment, including recently adopted EDA approach. Laboratory facilities include state-of-the-art equipment for sample preparation and subsequent chemical analyses, including LC-QTOF Premier MS-MS, triple quadrupole LC/MS and GC-MS systems, while the ecotoxicology laboratory has all necessary facilities and equipment for miniaturized high-throughput in vitro bioassays.
