In collaboration with BELUPO Pharmaceuticals and Cosmetics, Inc., the research team of the Ruđer Bošković Institute has been developing new clinical nutrition formulations aimed at providing nutritional support to individuals at risk of or suffering from malnutrition, as well as patients with diabetes and cancer.

The innovative aspect of this multidisciplinary science–industry collaboration lies in the development of formulations with novel sensory properties, tailored to the local climate and dietary habits of Croatian consumers.

The majority of financial resources have been invested in research and development of new formulations, patent protection, and the recruitment of new experts.
