CIR on the first PhD-Day at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing

The first PhD-Day organized by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing took place on March 3^rd 2016. At this occasion, five awarded Phd theses were orally presented and 29 PhD theses proposals were presented in a poster session.

The newly founded European networkSESAME Net -Supercomputing Expertise for Small And Medium Enterprises-and the corresponding project of the same name have been kicked off. SESAME Net boosts the usage of high performance computing-technology by small and medium-sized enterprises.
