In the digitalization of emerging technologies, distributed systems and secure services lead to Smart Industry. In this regard, Blockchain technology has a prominent place by opening up new possibilities and features. BPH initiative wants to create symbiosis and synergy of all stakeholders in order to achieve connection to new digital ecosystems as quickly and efficiently as possible. The establishment of BPH aims to achieve a step forward and prosperity based on individual and general social interests and needs. Become a member of BPH and gain the opportunity to develop new products and services on the Blockchain / DLT technology platform.

The 9th IEEE International Conference on Data Science and Advanced Analytics (DSAA) features its strong interdisciplinary synergy among statistics (via ASA), computing and information/intelligence sciences (via IEEE and ACM), and cross-domain interactions between academia and business for data science and analytics.
10 January 2022 - Members of the project "Scalable High Performance Algorithms for Future Heterogeneous Distributed Computing Systems", funded by the Croatian NSF and led by Davor Davidović, PhD, have been granted access to the EuroHPC supercomputer HPC Vega, located at the Institute of Information Sciences - IZUM in Maribor, Slovenia. Access to the supercomputer was granted through the EuroHPC JU Benchmark and Development Calls.
As part of the FF4EuroHPC project on the Modax machine, modifications were made and mechanical elements were added, as well as design interventions on exterior panels and doors, which are crucial in achieving project results and testing the impact of the heated chamber on the manufactured part.
The first call for regular access to EuroHPC resources has been opened - the deadline for submitting proposals is 3 December 2021, 10:00 Central European Time. You can find more about regular access to EuroHPC resources on the "EuroHPC resources" subpage.
Research topic: Mutualistic Symbiosis of Artificial Intelligence and Distributed Ledger Technologies for Social Good Applications in Human–Machine Ecosystems
One year of work on the establishment of the Croatian Competence Center for High Performance Computing
The project “National Competence Centres in the Framework of EuroHPC” – EuroCC, which establishes the Croatian Center for Competence for High Performance Computing, marked the first year of work on establishing networks of national competence centers for high performance computing in 33 member states of the European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU).
The Flemish Supercomputer Center (VSC) is, on 7th October, organizing a first VSC Lunch Session. The topic will be AI meets HPC. Two use cases are presented: Kurt De Grave of Flanders Make on AI and the manufacturing industry, Michael Sluydts of ePotentia on AI and materials research. Kenneth Hoste of VSC/UGent will then talk about artificial intelligence and GPUs.
During this two-day online Bootcamp, participants will learn about multiple GPU programming models and can choose the one that best fits their needs to run their scientific codes on GPUs. This Bootcamp will cover an introduction to GPU programming using OpenACC, OpenMP, stdpar and CUDA C, and provides hands-on opportunities to learn how to analyse GPU-enabled applications using NVIDIA® Nsight™ Systems.
