Synthetic Methodologies in Organic Chemistry

Research area of the Laboratory is the development of synthetic methodologies with applications in asymmetric catalysis, catalyst design, and peptidomimetic chemistry.

Research themes within the SynMeth lab are:

  3. Development of chiral ligands for organometallic catalysis (Nikola Topolovčan, web page)

Within the Laboratory, there is also an analytical unit which, in addition to conducting scientific work in the field of analytical chemistry, offers qualitative and quantitative analysis services using an HPLC-MS coupled system for users from the academic community and the industrial sector.
