1) SPI-Birds network & database, https://spibirds.org/en/

SPI-Birds među prvima je povezao i standardizirao podatke koji pripadaju long-tail znanosti. Pod mojim vodstvom, u manje od 2 godine uvjerili smo više od 120 istraživača diljem svijeta da nam pošalju svoje podatke koje standardiziramo. Projekt je dobio nekoliko nagrada i inspirirao nizozemski financijer znanosti (NWO) da uspostavi novi način financiranja (Open Science Fund). 16 predanih znanstvenih prijedloga i 2 financirana (njemački DGF, francuski ANR, gdje sam suradnik) temelje se na korištenju podataka koji se nalaze na SPI-Birds.

Projekt je uspostavio novi pristup razumijevanju socijalih veza unutar. Pristup ima velike implikacije na način na koji proučavamo ekološke i evolucijske procese budući da su socijalne veze ključne za reprodukciju kod većine životinja. Projekt je rezultirao sa 6 publikacija, pogledajte web stranicu.
