1. Upgrading of the 60Co panoramic irradiator would lead to better radiation processing services in the field of development, contract services and scientific and applied research in various aspects of irradiation technologies. 

2. Accreditation according to the ISO standards would lead to quality improvement of radiation processing and facility  operation in compliance with the demands of the EU legislation. The successful implementation of the project should increase and improve the links with many existing  end users and establish openness and expansion towards new national as well as EU markets
