Qualitative analysis
• recording of the spectrum of the sample
• determination of the molecular weight of the compound
• fragmentation analysis of a specific molecular ion (product ion)
• determination of the precursor of a specific fragment (precursor ion)
Quantitative analysis
• using standard analyte solutions and an internal standard, a calibration curve is created using the MRM technique, on the basis of which the concentration in the samples is determined
