Assessment of optimal irradiation conditions for gamma-radiation treatment of common fungi on selected cultural heritage objects

With the growing use of X-ray imaging techniques especially computed tomography (CT) and the increasing awareness of CT radiation risk to population, there is a greater need to accurately estimate radiation dose from different CT examinations especially for children population which is the main aim and focus of the Croatian Chinese Scientific and Technological Cooperation.

 The project will enhance research in various aspects of irradiation technologies as well as radiation processing services in the field of development, contract services in Croatia and the neighboring countries

To introduce and harmonize standardized quality control procedures in radiation processing of advanced materials, health care- and environmentally-friendly products
